Buildings for a New Generation
ANJO is the productized prefab line from Artistree — a vertically integrated design-build studio with two decades of award-winning hospitality work behind it.
Fourteen years of home-building. Twenty years in the press.
ANJO by Artistree brings fourteen years of award-winning design and execution to a new generation of construction. Our parent company, Artistree, is a vertically integrated design-build studio — architects, developers, and builders working under one roof — with a hospitality portfolio spanning boutique hotels, nature immersion centers, agrihoods, and eco-resorts across California and Texas. ANJO takes that same studio-level design and building science and makes it available as a precision-built, off-site-manufactured home.

The journey behind our success.
It started with a treehouse. In 2005, The New York Times profiled one of Artistree's first elevated builds — an early signal of the hands-on, in-the-canopy craftsmanship that would come to define the studio. Over the next two decades, that craft grew into a portfolio of award-winning treehouses, cabins, and boutique resorts — featured in Dwell, Dezeen, and Texas Highways, and named by the San Francisco Chronicle in 2025 as one of California's most sought-after stays.
Along the way, Artistree became something more than a design studio: a vertically integrated developer capable of taking a property from raw land to grand opening, with masterplanning, architecture, permitting, and construction all under one roof. ANJO is the next chapter — the same studio-level design and building science, productized into a home you can order, build off-site, and set on your own land.
Three questions, one answer.
Healthy, environmentally built homes.
Design-forward architecture that changes how construction affects people and the planet — not a trade-off, a standard.
Pushing every material and method.
We keep pushing the envelope on material selection, evolving our building science, and never compromising on architectural standards.
Construction has to change.
It's one of the largest contributors to climate change — but new processes and materials can change that, one building at a time.
What we hold ourselves to.
Integrity
We do what we say we'll do — with our clients, our partners, and the land we build on.
Sustainability
Every material and system is chosen to lighten our footprint, not just meet code.
Nature as the Art & Experience
We design with the landscape, not against it — nature is part of the experience, not the backdrop.
Client Focus
Your vision drives every decision, from first sketch to final walkthrough.
